All In-The-Money (ITM) Zinc and Copper options contracts expiring on 23rd September 2025 will automatically devolve into futures contracts if not squared off before expiry.

To hold the resulting futures position, sufficient margin must be available in your account. You can check the margin requirements using our MCX Margin Calculator.

Important Instructions:

• Maintain the required margin in your account well in advance to avoid square-off or penalties.

• Refer to the MCX Margin Calculator for updated margin requirements.

• It’s advisable to square off ITM options before expiry to avoid unintended futures positions.

• Square-off Alert: Any open ITM options positions may be squared off anytime after 9:00 PM on 22nd Sept 2025 to prevent potential risks.
