Zinc & Copper Options Expiry - 23rd April 2026 (ITM Options to Devolve Into Futures)

All In-The-Money (ITM) Zinc and Copper options contracts expiring on 23rd April 2026 will automatically devolve into futures contracts if not squared off before expiry.

To hold the resulting futures position, sufficient margin must be available in your account. You can check the applicable margin requirements using our MCX Margin Calculator.

Important Instructions:

• Maintain the required futures margin in your account well in advance to avoid square-off or penalties.
• Check margin requirements using the MCX Margin Calculator.
• It is advised to square off ITM options before expiry to avoid unintended futures positions.
• Square-off Alert: Any open ITM options positions may be squared off anytime after 9:00 PM on 22nd April 2026 to prevent potential risks.
