As per the exchange circular, the Equity, F&O, and Currency markets will remain closed on May 1, 2026, on account of Maharashtra Day. The commodity markets (MCX) will remain closed during the morning session and will open at 5:00 PM for the evening session.

Points to remember:

• MCX and NCOM will operate only during the evening session starting at 5:00 PM on May 1, 2026.
• Trades executed on April 30, 2026 (all segments) and May 1, 2026 (MCX evening session) will be settled on May 4, 2026.
• Credits from intraday & F&O profits, commodity MTM, and option exits on April 30 will not be available in your balance on May 1 due to the settlement holiday.
• Withdrawal requests placed after 5:00 PM on April 30, 2026, will be processed on May 4, 2026.
• The instant withdrawal facility will not be available on May 1, 2026.
