As per the exchange circular, NSE, BSE & MCX (morning session) will remain closed on March 31, 2026, on account of Shri Mahavir Jayanti. However, the MCX & NCOM evening session will open at 5:00 PM on March 31, 2026.

Points to remember:

• MCX & NCOM will operate in the evening session from 5:00 PM on March 31, 2026.
• Trades executed on March 30, 2026 (Monday) will be settled on April 2, 2026 (Thursday), as April 1, 2026 (Wednesday) is a Clearing Holiday.
• Stocks purchased on March 30, 2026, will be visible under BTST holdings on April 1, 2026 and can be sold only after ensuring margin equivalent to 25% of transaction value.
• Credits from all segment transactions of March 30 & March 31, 2026 will not be available for trading or withdrawal until settlement on April 2, 2026.
• Trades from March 31, 2026 (commodity segment – evening session) will be settled on April 2, 2026.
• Instant withdrawal facility will not be available on March 31, 2026.
• Withdrawal requests placed after 5:00 PM on March 30, 2026 will be processed on April 2, 2026.
