As per the revised NSE circular, September 5 (Friday) and September 8 (Monday), 2025 are declared as settlement holidays on account of Id-E-Milad. This change has been made to align clearing and settlement cycles with the holiday on September 8th.
Here’s what you need to know:
BTST Holdings
Stocks bought on 4th & 5th September will show under BTST on 9th September (Tuesday).
Stocks bought on 8th & 9th September will show under BTST on 10th September (Wednesday).
CM Segment
Trades from 4th & 5th September will be settled on 9th September (Tuesday).
Trades from 8th & 9th September will be settled on 10th September (Wednesday).
FO / COM (MCX / NCOM) Segment
Trades from 4th, 5th & 8th September will be settled on 9th September (Tuesday).
CD Segment
Trades from 4th September will be settled on 9th September (Tuesday).
Withdrawals (Instant & Normal)
Withdrawals will not be available on 5th, 8th & 9th September, and will be processed on 10th September (Wednesday).
Other Key Points
Markets will remain open on both 5th & 8th September.
BTST will be allowed on 5th & 8th September.
Pledge and Unpledge requests will be accepted as usual on 5th & 8th September.
Mutual fund orders will be accepted on 9th September 2025.
The buy price for stocks purchased on 4th, 5th & 8th September will be shown on a weighted average basis.
