As per the circular dated 19th October 2022, The National Stock Exchange of India has announced that due to a demerger taking effect in NMDC Ltd, the following changes are applicable in NMDC Ltd Equity and Derivative contracts:

• Shareholders will receive 1 equity share of NMDC Steel Limited of ₹10 each (Face Value) for every 1 equity shares of ₹10 each held in NMDC Ltd. The Record Date is 20th October 2022.
• All the existing derivative contracts expiring in the month of October 2022, November 2022, and December 2022, shall expire on October 25, 2022, and shall be physically settled on 28th October. As a result, NMDC Ltd Derivative contracts will be blocked on October 25th, 2022, for trading.
• Derivatives contracts on NMDC will be introduced again (with expiry October 27, 2022, November 24, 2022 and December 29, 2022) from October 27, 2022).
• The physical settlement shall be effected on October 28th, 2022 (T+2 day).
