As per the circular dated 27th March 2023, The Securities and Exchange Board India had announced that the deadline to update nomination is 30th September 2023. In case the choice of nomination is not provided by 30th September 2023, the trading and Demat account will be frozen from 1st October 2023 onwards. Note: The trading accounts of clients who have not updated their nominee will be moved to 'Auto-Squareoff' mode from 25th September onwards, which means they will not be able to take fresh position/s in their trading account, or any existing open position will be squared off as per the Risk Management System (RMS) policies.
