All In-The-Money (ITM) Gold options contracts expiring on 29th August 2025 will automatically devolve into futures contracts if not squared off before expiry.
To hold the resulting futures position, sufficient margin must be available in your account. You can check the applicable margin requirements using our MCX Margin Calculator.
Important Instructions:
Ensure that futures margin is maintained in your account well in advance to avoid square-off or penalties.

It is advised to square off ITM options before expiry to avoid unintended futures positions.
Square-off Alert: Any open ITM options positions may be squared off anytime after 9:00 PM on 28th August 2025 to prevent potential risks.
