As per circulars issued by NSE Commodities and MCX, trading on January 1st, 2026 (New Year’s Day) will be open only until 5:00 PM for the commodities segment. The evening session will remain closed.

To ensure smooth operations, all intraday commodity positions will be squared off at 4:45 PM, 15 minutes before market close.

This applies to all intraday orders on NSE Commodities and MCX.
