Safety and Controls

The trading skill defaults order code to a dry run: it shows the proposed payload without sending an order. It also checks the symbol, lot size, tick size and contract expiry.

Before a live action

  1. Enable live mode explicitly in the script or command.

  2. Review the exact action: symbol, buy or sell, quantity, order type, price and product.

  3. Confirm that specific place, modify, cancel, exit or conversion action in the conversation.

Both live mode and action confirmation are required. For exit_all, the skill shows the open positions and P&L and asks for additional confirmation. Supercharge Mode evaluates variants in backtests and does not place live orders.

For market ticks, use a WebSocket rather than repeatedly polling quotes. If the API responds with a rate-limit error, follow its retry interval. See Error codes and rate limits.
