FYERS operates the website www.fyers.in (“Site”).We respect the privacy of each user of the Site (referred to as “you” or “a user”), whether it is your first time, or if you have visited our Site previously. This Privacy Statement gives you specific information about how we protect your privacy, how we treat the information we collect on the Site that identifies an individual user (“Personal Information”), and how we use aggregated information.

Scope of this Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement applies to your use of this Site only. We do not own, operate or control the websites of our Franchisees or sales associates. Accordingly, this Statement does not apply to a Franchisee’s or sales associate’s website or a Franchisee’s or sales associate’s collection, use, storage and disclosure of your Personal Information.

Collection and use of your personal information

We collect your Personal Information, and in the case of account opening, background, financial, and demographic information on the Site in order to enhance the services we offer you. Such information may include your name, date of birth, residence and employment addresses, father’s and spouses names, bank account details, scans/copies of document proofs such as PAN, passport, Aadhaar etc. We may hold this information indefinitely as required by the law, for the purpose of offering you our services, and for other regulatory and business purposes.

We collect Personal Information from you only when you voluntarily submit for purposes including but not limited to:

  • sales and account opening queries

  • partnership/association inquiries, and others

We may use the information for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • identity verification and background checking for account opening
  • personalizing services offered to you
  • keeping you updated of our products and services relevant to you
  • information pertaining our services you have subscribed to

Account information

We associate with your account and collect the information you provide to us while carrying out activities such as sign up for your account (such as your name, email address, phone number) to communicate with you, provide you with information about our services. We might also tell you about our new features or services. We store users’ data in our servers for our use only and we don’t share it with any other party.

Device information

We collect information about the device you’re using including the type of device, operating system, settings, unique device identifiers to send user-specific push notifications and to provide device specific features related to biometrics security. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to report on user interactions or for us to monitor integrity of the product. These cookies store non-personally identifiable information.

FYERS may have the requirement to collect Sensitive Personal Data or Information (“SPDI”) OR Personal Information from you while offering their products and services due to the nature of the products and services being offered. SPDI shall have the meaning per the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“Rules”).

About security, we respect all information provided to us and take all reasonable steps towards protection of the same. We have implemented technology and policies, with the objective of protecting your privacy from unauthorized access and improper use, and periodically review the same. We maintain procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of personally identifiable information transmitted to us. Information related to Aadhaar shall be collected and stored as per the rules set by UIDAI and mainly as per the Circular issued by UIDAI numbering: 11020/205/2017, dated July 25, 2017. Aadhaar details are also a requirement for being captured as per the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and the Rules therein.

Collection of non-personal information

Even if you do not send us any Personal Information, we collect information about how you use our site (“Non-Personal Information”). This information cannot be used to identify you personally and is explained in more detail below under “Non-Personal Information.”

Cookies

By visiting the website and registering yourself at fyers.in you authorize us to contact you via E-mail, Phone Call or SMS and communicate to you about our services, product knowledge, special offers & propositions offered by the associated third parties. For these reasons, the website may collect personally identifiable information.

Even if you have registered yourself under ‘Do Not Disturb’ (DND) or Do Not Call (DNC) or The National Customer Preference Register (NCPR) services, you still authorize us to contact you from FYERS for the purposes mentioned above throughout the 365 days of your registration with us.

Children

This Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (“Children”), and we do not knowingly collect any information, including Personal Information, from Children.
