FYERS AI Skills
FYERS API Skills help an AI coding agent work with FYERS Developer API v3. The agent can use the skill pack to find instruments, retrieve account and market data, prepare orders, and build or backtest trading strategies. A separate skill, Supercharge Mode, helps compare improvements to an already backtested strategy.
Install once, reuse across sessions. Less prompt rewriting. More consistent FYERS workflows.
How it works
For a FYERS task, the agent reads the applicable skill, consults only the relevant reference material, and uses a script when the task calls for execution. See Skill Standard.
Install
npx skills add FyersDev/fyers-skills --allSee Installation for the requirements and how to connect your FYERS account.
What is included
| Skill | Purpose | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
fyers-trading | Works with FYERS API v3, symbols, market data, orders, WebSockets and backtests | For an API query, an order workflow, a trading script or a strategy backtest |
fyers-supercharge | Tests and compares changes to a backtested strategy | After a successful backtest, when the goal is to improve or stress-test the strategy |
The skills use the public FYERS Developer API. The main REST host is https://api-t1.fyers.in; the data APIs use https://api-t1.fyers.in/data. See the FYERS API v3 reference for endpoint details.
A typical first session
Install the skill pack and create an app in the FYERS API dashboard.
Complete the OAuth login and verify access with a profile request.
Start with a read-only task, such as a quote, historical candles, holdings or positions.
For an order request, review a dry-run payload first. A live order requires the live trading controls.
For a strategy, run a backtest before considering execution or Supercharge Mode.
See Installation, the FYERS API dashboard , Safety and Controls and Supercharge Mode.
