Plans & Limits

Before you build, check whether the Standard plan supports your expected request volume, historical-data requirement and WebSocket subscriptions. The Standard plan is free and includes usage limits to ensure fair access for all users. FYERS Prime is a subscription plan that expands these limits for users with higher data and scale requirements.

When FYERS Prime is relevant

Review the complete Prime offering and subscription details on the FYERS Prime page.

  • You need significantly higher Data API throughput.
  • You need longer daily or intraday historical-data coverage.
  • You need Seconds Data or broader Expired F&O Data access.
  • You need to subscribe to more symbols through Data Socket or Tick-by-Tick (TBT) Socket.

HTTP 429

When a rate limit is reached

Error Code -429The API returns error code -429 when the applicable per-second, per-minute or per-day limit is exceeded.

Stop repeated requests, wait for the applicable limit window to reset and reduce unnecessary calls. FYERS Prime provides higher limits for supported API categories.

Rate-limit error: triggered when the applicable per-second, per-minute or per-day request limit is exceeded.

User blocking: if the per-minute rate limit is exceeded more than 3 times in a day, the user is blocked for the rest of the day.
