Permission Templates
You can grant each app a different permission template at creation time. Each template builds on the one before it — pick the narrowest one your app actually needs.

| Transactions Info | Everything in Basic, plus Orders, Positions, Trades, Holdings, Funds, Market Status |
| Order Placement | Everything in Transactions Info, plus Order Placement, Order Modification, Order Cancellation, Exit Positions, Convert Positions |
| Market Data | Historical data, Market Depth, Quotes |
Choose the template while creating the app in the FYERS API dashboard. You cannot call an API outside your app’s granted permissions — a Basic app cannot place orders even with a valid access token.
