TPIN Generation

This API allows you to generate the TPIN used to authorise the sale of holdings through CDSL or NSDL.

USE CASE

Get a TPIN before authorising a sell when POA is not submitted or DDPI is not activated.

Details

  • TPIN is an authorization code generated by CDSL/NSDL respectively, using which the customer validates/authorises the transaction.
  • The request takes no parameters. Send only the Authorization header.
  • The TPIN is an authorisation code generated by CDSL or NSDL. The customer uses it to validate and authorise the transaction.
  • The response does not contain the TPIN. On success data is an empty string and message confirms that the request was sent.
  • Use Verify DIS next, where the user authorises the holdings with the TPIN.
