EDIS / DDPI
Electronic Delivery Instruction Slip (eDIS) allows you to sell shares if your Power of Attorney (POA) is not submitted or DDPI is not activated.
Use these APIs to generate a TPIN, authorise your holdings with CDSL and check the result.
The four APIs work together. The usual order is to generate the TPIN, call Verify DIS to get the CDSL page where the user authorises the holdings with that TPIN, then use EDIS Inquiry to check the result. EDIS Details lists the authorisations already completed. An authorisation is valid till the end of the day, whether or not the sell is completed.
Note: You can sell only authorised holdings. To skip this workflow, activate DDPI .
