Installation
FYERS MCP is packaged for Mac (.pkg) and Windows (.exe). Just download, run, log in, and authorise. Your AI platform instantly syncs with your FYERS context—no command line, no code edits.
For everyday users, that means you’re ready in minutes. For developers, it means the installation doubles up as a foundation: the raw server spec is there if you want to extend MCP into your own custom setup.
Getting started with FYERS MCP is effortless.
Before you start
- A FYERS account.
- A supported client. The Mac and Windows installer sets up Claude Desktop; Cursor is set up with the server URL below.
For Mac & Windows
Download the installer for Mac (.pkg) or Windows (.exe).
Run the installer. It will install Node.js and Claude Desktop.
Restart Claude Desktop and log in to your FYERS account.
Authorise once, and your AI platform is synced with your FYERS context.
For Cursor
Open Cursor.
Go to Settings → MCP & Integrations.
Click Add New MCP Server.
Paste the following JSON and save.
Config done. Restart Cursor so FYERS MCP is connected.

Generate an access token from the FYERS API dashboard, then add it to your AI client’s MCP config.
Check the connection
Ask your AI client: “Show my funds.” If it returns your available funds, FYERS MCP is connected. If it doesn’t, see Troubleshooting.
