Authorization Code

This page describes the auth_code and state that FYERS sends to your redirect_uri after the user logs in.

USE CASE

Read the auth_code and state sent to your redirect_uri, and check the state before you use the code.

Details

  • After successful login, the user is redirected to the redirect_uri with the auth_code and the same state value that was sent in the request.
  • auth_code is a string you exchange for the access_token in Generate Access Token.
  • state is returned unchanged; compare it with the value you sent before continuing.
  • These values arrive at your redirect_uri after a successful login, so it must be a URL that is in your control.
