Trading Holiday on October 2, 2026 on account of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti

As per the exchange circulars, NSE, BSE & MCX (morning and evening sessions) will remain closed on October 2, 2026, on account of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.

Points to remember:

• No trading will take place across Equity, F&O, Currency, and Commodity segments on October 2, 2026.
• Trades executed on October 1, 2026 (Thursday) will be settled on October 5, 2026 (Monday), as October 2 is a trading and clearing holiday, followed by the weekend.
• Credits from transactions on October 1, 2026, will not be available for trading or withdrawal until settlement on October 5, 2026.
• Instant withdrawal facility will not be available on October 2, 2026.
• Withdrawal requests placed after 5:00 PM on October 1, 2026, will be processed on October 5, 2026.
