Settlement Holidays on September 5th & 8th, 2025

As per the revised NSE circular, September 5 (Friday) and September 8 (Monday), 2025 are declared as settlement holidays on account of Id-E-Milad. This change has been made to align clearing and settlement cycles with the holiday on September 8th. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Trades from September 4 and  5 will all be settled on September 9, 2025 (Tuesday).
  • Trades from September 8 and 9 will be settled on September 10, 2025 (Wednesday).
  • Withdrawals (Instant & Normal) will not be available on September 5, 8, and 9, and will be processed on September 10, 2025 (Wednesday).
  • Markets will remain open on both 5th & 8th September.
  • BTST will be allowed on 5th & 8th September.
  • Funds credited from trades between 4–9 September will be available only after the respective settlement dates.
  • Pledge and Unpledge requests will be accepted as usual on 5th & 8th September.
  • Mutual fund orders will be accepted on September 9, 2025.
