Important: November and December 2026 expiry contracts will continue with the existing lot sizes for stocks with increased lot sizes or special non-multiple revisions. The revised lot sizes will apply from January 2027 expiry onwards.

For NSE, the day spread order book will not be available for December 2026–January 2027 expiry combinations for contracts covered under the upward and non-multiple revisions.

What This Means

  • Contract values and margin requirements may change based on the revised lot sizes.
  • Order quantities must match the applicable lot size for the selected contract expiry.
  • Certain spread combinations may not be available during the transition.

What Should Be Done

  • Check whether open positions are affected by the revised lot sizes.
  • Ensure order quantities match the revised lot sizes for the applicable expiry.
  • Review existing positions and adjust or square off positions where necessary.

Note: BAJAJHLDNG, IEX and IREDA were excluded from the lot size review due to their removal from the F&O segment.
