Changes to FYERS API Rate Limits and Usage
From 16th October 2026, we are revising FYERS API rate limits and enhancing the API benefits available with FYERS Prime.
The applicable limits will depend on the plan: Standard for users without an active FYERS Prime subscription, and Prime for users with an active subscription.
Under this structure, APIs will be grouped into Data APIs, Transaction APIs and User Info APIs, with separate limits for each category across both plans.
Data API Rate Limits:
Rate Limit | Standard | Prime |
Requests per second | 5 | 10 |
Requests per minute | 50 | 500 |
Requests per day | 5,000 | 5,00,000 |
Transaction and User Info API Rate Limits:
Standard limits for placing orders, managing positions and retrieving account information remain unchanged. Prime users will receive higher per-minute and daily limits.
Rate Limit | Standard | Prime |
Requests per second | 10 | 10 |
Requests per minute | 200 | 500 |
Requests per day | 1,00,000 | 5,00,000 |
Prime users will also receive:
- Broader historical data access, including expired F&O data and historical Greeks.
- Up to 1,000 symbols per Quotes API request.
- Data socket subscriptions for up to 5,000 symbols.
- Tick-by-Tick (TBT) socket subscriptions for up to 15 symbols.
Please review the revised limits and make any required changes to API usage before 16th October 2026. If an applicable limit is reached, further requests may be restricted until that limit resets.
