1 week agoThis is to inform that the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) vide its communication dated 17.08.2026 has withdrawn the permission granted under the Coal Mines Regulations 2017 for controlled deep-hole blasting in New Akashkinaree Colliery (NAKC) of Govindpur Area BCCL. BCCL is undertaking appropriate steps in accordance with the instructions of the concerned authorities including conducting the required technical study and seeking fresh permission at the earliest.Details attached

The Award was set aside by the learned Single Judge of the Honble High Court of Jharkhand. Thereafter the Division Bench restored the Award. The Special Leave Petition and the Review Petition preferred by the Company before the Honble Supreme Court were subsequently dismissed.Further details attached.

On superannuation of Shri Ganesh Chandra Saha General Manager (Mining) Shri Jayanta Kumar Das General Manager (Mining) has assumed the charge of Area General Manager PB Area. Accordingly Shri Jayanta Kumar Das has become SMP of BCCL and Shri Ganesh Chandra Saha ceases to be SMP of the Company.2. The company has been informed that the Court of the Learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Dhanbad vide its order dated May 6 2026 has acquitted all the accused persons named in the aforesaid complaint of the offences alleged under Section 73 72A and 72C(1)(a) of the Mines Act 1952. Consequently the complaint case stands disposed of.Accordingly the litigation disclosed in the offer documents stands concluded with the disposal of the case.

2 months agoIn terms of Regulation 30 of the SEBI LODR Regulations 2015 company is in receipt of a notice from both the stock Exchanges dated 27.05.2026 regarding non-compliance with various provisions of SEBI LODR Regulations 2015 for the quarter ended 31.03.2026 and have imposed a fine of Rs. 7 64 640 (inclusive of GST) by each Exchange for non-compliance of the provisions.

2 months agoPursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations 2015 this is to inform that the CFDs of BCCL in its meeting held on 03rd June 2026 and 04th June 2026 has approved implementation in BCCL of the interim measures approved by Coal India Limited for mitigation of financial stress arising from the abnormal increase in bulk diesel prices in respect of eligible ongoing contracts.Under the approved interim measures diesel price variation to eligible Hiring of HEMM and Coal Transportation Contractors shall be computed with reference to Bulk Diesel Rates subject to the terms and conditions approved by the competent authority.The financial impact is presently not ascertainable and shall depend upon actual eligible claims under the approved mechanism.
