New Tick Size Structure for NSE Derivatives & Equity Markets

As per the NSE circulars, the tick size for stock futures, index futures, and securities in the Capital Market (CM) segment will be revised from April 15, 2025, as there is a trading holiday on April 14, 2025 on account of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti.

The first revision will be applied on April 11, 2025 (EOD) based on the closing price on March 28, 2025 in the CM segment, followed by monthly reviews.

Additional Notes:

  • The revision applies to all expiries, including Near-Month, Middle-Month, and Far-Month contracts.

  • Options contracts on index and stock derivatives will retain a tick size of Rs. 0.05.
