I was checking the brokerage calculator available at Brokerage Calculator - Calculate Brokerage Charges Online | Fyers
For an arbitrary futures buy transaction on NSE, for a value of Rs. 10,000 and qty: 100, the exchange transaction charges show as "Rs. 23.80". However, the regulatory exchange transaction charges for this transaction must be 0.0019%, which will result in Rs. 19/- (Charges List β FYERS).
Why is the calculator showing Rs. 23.80/-. If it includes GST, there are two problems - the value should be "Rs. 22.42" and the GST component shown on this calculator includes "Rs. 23.80" and calculates GST over and above that amount.
