Important Update: Today’s Live Data Disruption

This morning, between 9:16 AM and 1:45 PM IST, live market data on FYERS platforms was disrupted. Order placement, logins, and historical charts continued to work, but ticks stopped updating first on NSE F&O contracts and later across all segments.

It pains me that you had to face this disruption. Market data is the backbone of trading, and it’s our responsibility to ensure you always have access to it.

I want to share a transparent timeline of what happened and how our teams worked to restore normalcy:

  • 9:16 AM Real-time ticks for NSE F&O stopped updating. A switchover to our Disaster Recovery site was initiated, but the live feed remained unavailable.

  • 11:30 AM The impact extended to all market segments. As a precaution, we advised clients not to initiate fresh positions since P&L tracking relies on live data.

  • 12:11 PM Live feeds were restored on FYERS Trader (trade.fyers.in), enabling clients to track and place trades while work continued on Web and App.

  • 1:45 PM Full functionality was restored across FYERS Web and FYERS App. Normal service resumed on all platforms. For real-time platform health, you can always check the FYERS Status Dashboard.

    We continuously invest in building resilient infrastructure, and today’s incident is a reminder of the importance to continue building further on those efforts. The learnings from this will further strengthen our systems to serve you better.
