New Ways to Manage Mutual Funds on FYERS

Long term investing is not static. Income changes, cash flows fluctuate, and priorities shift over time. So we have added new functionalities to mutual funds on FYERS that give you more control, without breaking your investing discipline.

Here is what is new.

Flexible SIPs: Stay Invested Even When Life Changes

SIPs no longer have to be all or nothing. You can now modify amounts, pause for selected months, skip a single instalment, or gradually increase your SIP as your income grows, all while keeping the SIP active.

Read more: More Control Over SIPs in Mutual Funds

SWP: A Structured Way to Withdraw

Building wealth is one half of investing. The other half is knowing how to take the money out without disrupting what you have built. SWP lets you withdraw a fixed amount from your mutual fund at regular intervals, while the rest stays invested.

Read more: Introducing SWP in Mutual Funds

STP: Move Money Gradually Between Funds

If you have already invested in a fund and want to move into another, STP lets you transfer a fixed amount from one fund to another at regular intervals, while the rest stays invested. No rushed decisions, no lump sum moves.

All of these are available on FYERS Web and App. Set them up once, adjust when needed, and let your investments run with more control and less friction.

10 new indicators. 1 new charting tool. All live.

We've been quietly adding a lot to FYERS. New indicators, new charting tools. These are the indicators and charting tools we've added in the last couple of months.

1. OI Profile

See where contracts are stacking up across strikes, right on your price chart. No need to switch to the option chain. Hover on any bar and you can place a trade directly from there.

To know more, refer to this blog.

2. Open Interest Change

Price can move for different reasons. This tells you whether fresh money is coming in or old positions are just closing out. Same price move, very different story.

To know more, refer to this blog.

3. Auto Fib

Fibonacci levels, drawn automatically. No dragging, no adjusting, no getting the swing points wrong. And when the market makes a new high or low, the levels update on their own.

To know more, refer to this blog.

4. Anchored VWAP & Bands

Standard VWAP resets daily. This one lets you anchor it to any point that matters to you, a breakout, an event, a gap. Your reference, your rules.

To know more, refer to this blog.

5. Relative Volume

Volume without context is just a number. This tells you if the current trading activity is actually unusual compared to the stock's own history. A spike to 2x or 3x the average is usually a sign that someone big is moving.

To know more, refer to this blog.

6. Comparative Relative Strength

When everything is green, this tells you which stocks are genuinely leading and which ones are just riding the market up. In a flat market, that difference matters a lot.

To know more, refer to this blog.

7. RSI Momentum Divergence

Price is still climbing but momentum is quietly fading. This catches that divergence early, before the reversal shows up on the chart. Works the other way too, when price is falling but selling is losing steam.

To know more, refer to this blog.

8. Average Day Range (ADR)

Before you enter a trade, it helps to know how much the stock typically moves in a day. ADR gives you that number so you stop guessing at targets and stops. If the stock has already done its usual range, that changes things.

To know more, refer to this blog.

9. True Range

Regular candle size ignores overnight gaps. True Range accounts for them, so your stop loss is based on what the market actually did. Useful on any stock that gaps regularly.

To know more, refer to this blog.

10. Candlestick Patterns

Every hammer, engulfing, and reversal pattern, spotted and labelled on your chart the moment it forms. So you never miss a signal because you were looking elsewhere. You can also turn off the patterns you don't trade, so your chart stays clean.

To know more, refer to this blog.

Custom Timeframes

We've also added the option to add new custom time intervals from minutes to months, whatever your strategy needs. Once added, it stays in your list.

To know more, refer to this blog.

Try them out. And if there is something specific you want us to build next, drop it in the comments.

Dear FYERS Team,

I would like to request the addition of the Kaufman Adaptive Moving Average (KAMA) indicator to the FYERS charting platform.

KAMA, developed by Perry J. Kaufman, is a widely used adaptive moving average that automatically adjusts its sensitivity based on market volatility and price efficiency. Unlike traditional moving averages such as SMA and EMA, KAMA becomes more responsive during trending markets and reduces noise during sideways or choppy conditions.

Many traders use KAMA for:

• Trend identification
• Dynamic support and resistance analysis
• Noise reduction and filtering false signals
• Intraday and swing trading strategies
• Multi-timeframe market analysis

The indicator is available on several major charting and trading platforms and is widely recognized within the trading community.

Suggested parameters:

• Length (ER Period)
• Fast EMA Length
• Slow EMA Length
• Source (Close/Open/HL2/etc.)
• Color change based on trend direction
• Alert conditions for price crossing KAMA and KAMA slope changes

Adding KAMA would enhance the indicator library on FYERS and provide traders with a valuable adaptive trend-following tool for both discretionary and systematic trading.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to seeing KAMA included in future platform updates.

New Ways to Analyse Markets on FYERS

Markets move quickly, information is dense, and time is limited. Over the last few months, we’ve focused on improving how you see the market and how quickly you can move from context to decision.

These three updates work together to reduce friction in that process.

1. Market Analytics: See the market clearly

Market Analytics brings multiple market-wide views into one place, so you don’t have to piece together context from different tools. It’s designed to help you understand what’s moving, where strength or weakness is building, and who is participating.

Heatmap

A grid-based visual that shows stock performance at a glance. It helps you quickly see which stocks are rising or falling, how broad the move is, and where strength is concentrated.
Learn more: Visualise the Market with FYERS Heatmaps

Bubble chart

A visual scan where each stock appears as a bubble sized by volume or delivery and coloured by return. This makes it easier to spot unusual activity and standout moves without scanning long tables.
Learn more: Introducing Bubble Charts – A New Way to Scan the Markets

Sector heatmap

A view of how entire sectors are performing relative to each other. It helps you quickly identify sector rotation and understand where momentum is building or fading.
Learn more: Spot the Rotation with Sector Heatmaps

FII/DII activity

A dedicated section to track institutional participation across cash and derivatives. It adds context to price moves by showing whether large participants are accumulating, reducing exposure, or staying neutral.
Learn more: Track the Big Money with FII & DII Activity

Company filings

A consolidated feed of official exchange disclosures such as results, board decisions, and regulatory announcements. This helps you stay informed about material updates directly from the source.
Learn more: Stay Updated with Company Filings on FYERS

Bulk/Block deals

A tracker for large transactions involving institutions, promoters, and other major participants. Useful for understanding sudden activity or changes in ownership that may not be obvious on charts alone.
Learn more: Track Bulk and Block Deals on FYERS

2. Screener enhancements: Spot opportunities without the clutter

Screeners were already part of FYERS. The recent updates focus on making them easier to navigate and faster to use.

With clearer categories, visible screener logic, and multiple views including heatmaps, screeners now help you identify relevant setups without scanning endless lists or second-guessing why a stock appears.

Learn more: Making Your Market Research Sharper with Screeners

3. Analyse charts with FIA: Faster chart reads with a simple prompt

Chart analysis often involves repeating the same steps across symbols: adding indicators, checking patterns, marking levels, and reading structure.

FIA reduces this manual work by interpreting chart patterns, indicators, drawings, and trend context directly on the chart. Instead of spending time preparing the chart, you can focus on evaluating the trade.

Learn more: Analyse Charts Easily with FIA

Each of these updates is meant to remove small but repeated frictions from your daily workflow. Used together, they help you move from market context to trade decisions with more clarity and less effort.
