Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent issues and lack of timely support from the Fyers team. As a serious investor, I expect a certain standard from my brokerage platform — one that has, unfortunately, not been met of late. I wish to bring the following concerns to your attention:
Failure to Update Siemens Chart Post-Demerger (07.04.2025)
Siemens demerged its energy business, and as expected, the stock underwent a price adjustment. While all other broker platforms, including TradingView, promptly updated the chart to reflect this, Fyers failed to do so. This is a basic functionality, and such lapses significantly hamper decision-making.Zomato to Eternal Transition – Lack of Chart History:
When Zomato began trading as Eternal, the chart history was missing — showing only two days of data. Only after I sent multiple emails was the issue addressed. Once again, other platforms had this update done automatically and well in advance. Your team should be proactive, not reactive, especially in guiding users during corporate actions.Lack of Detailed Charges Bifurcation (Equity/FnO):
Despite my repeated requests, there is still no clear bifurcation of charges across Equity Intraday, Equity Delivery, and FnO. Competitor platforms offer detailed charge breakdowns — what’s stopping Fyers?Tax P&L Report Format Needs Major Improvement:
I've suggested multiple times the need for an option to view Tax P&L reports by day, month, quarter, and year. Additionally, critical details such as STT, turnover charges, brokerage, and other miscellaneous charges per trade are missing. This has been ignored time and again despite several emails. It feels like these requests are being drowned in the Bay of Bengal.Buying Date of Holdings Still Missing:
For over a year, I have requested the inclusion of purchase dates in the Holdings section. This simple yet essential feature would allow investors to easily determine STCG or LTCG upon selling. Again, no action has been taken.
While I acknowledge some improvements made in recent times — such as the Tax P&L and Insta Options — it is quite possible that these were driven by constant user feedback like mine. However, the overall experience remains disappointing.
I am seriously considering shifting to a more responsive brokerage platform that values investor feedback and ensures platform reliability and transparency.
Please treat this as a serious escalation.
Regards,
Murali
