I have faced this earlier also, but now reporting it as now i understood what could be the reason behind it.
Example:-
Say i have 5000 in funds
Hence I bought 1 lot of nifty options X which has a cmp of 100
So I placed a limit order for 1 lot at cmp 100
100*50 = 5000 (Order will get triggered.)
Now after some time that Option X is trading at 150 so If i Place a Sell Limit Order for 150 ( It will show margin error), as per your system I need 150*50 = 7500 in funds to place this limit order. This analogy is absolutely wrong to calculate.
Pls fix this on priority.
Apart from this ,margin calculation analogy is wrong at multiple places, like say while placing a stop loss order. but this error is affecting a profitable trade go wrong hence please fix this first.
