Hi,

https://api.fyers.in/api/v2/span_margin

This API is unable to calculate sapn margin for equity and option buying orders.

This API returns a 500 error for Equity Orders and a total value of 0 for Option Buying.

SPAN Margin is a requirement only for writing F&O positions based on VaR. This API will NOT work for Equity symbols.

SPAN margin is set by the system to account for the possibility of any worst intraday movement providing cover against the potential risk. For Buying Options, only Premium is collected and hence SPAN margin requirement is actually 0.

Even the Web Portal of Fyers shows SPAN Margin calculation only for F&O positions.
