Hi Team,
There is a confusion in the Place Options Order configuration.
The field label says “Target Points”, but the input box shows the ₹ (Rupee) symbol. These two indicate different meanings.
For example:
- Suppose I buy NIFTY at 24050.
- If I enter 10 in the Target Points field, my understanding is that the target should be hit when NIFTY reaches 24060, i.e. 10 Index Points.
However, because the input box displays the ₹ symbol, it appears that entering 10 means the target will be hit when my profit becomes ₹10, not when NIFTY moves by 10 points.
So, could you please clarify which interpretation is correct?
Scenario 1 – If the field is meant for Points
- Entry: NIFTY 24050
- Target Value: 10
- Target should trigger at: NIFTY 24060 (10 Index Points)
Scenario 2 – If the field is meant for Profit Amount
- Entry: NIFTY 24050
- Target Value: 10
- Target should trigger when the profit reaches ₹10, irrespective of how many points NIFTY has moved.
Please confirm which one is correct.
Also, I would suggest updating the UI to avoid confusion:
- If the field accepts Points, please remove the ₹ symbol.
- If the field accepts Profit Amount, please rename the field to “Target Amount (₹)” instead of “Target Points”.
At present, the label and the ₹ symbol contradict each other, which makes it difficult to understand how the system actually works.
Thank you.
