Repeat order does not work as intended

When someone is pressing on repeat order, one would expect all the parameters of the order to the same as before. (Shocking) But while using the Fyers mobile application. It changed a limit order into a market order. Terrible UX. Who’s going to be paying for the difference ?

Hi @algo_go,

That’s concerning to hear. We need to look into this issue more closely. Kindly raise a ticket at [email protected] using your registered email id, and we will update you as soon as possible.

This is a reproducible result. I’ll raise a ticket but writing it here for context.

  1. Execute a limit order. (In my case this order this order was cancelled because of Fyers issue today, the email from Fyers says so)
  2. From Order history click on your limit order. Click on Repeat order.
In an ideal scenario, this would place a limit order identical to the one that was cancelled. What actually happened was that Fyers placed a market order which actually moved the price as it is not a very liquid ticker
