Hi, I am at T-2 today. I purchased shares on 29.09.2026, and on 30.09.2026, received a mail stating Possible Cash Settlement for Your Recent Purchase and asked me not to sell those shares. Even afer market close. its still showing as T1 qty in Portfolio. Is there anything I should do now? Or will the shares only be confirmed on Monday?
Hi @mfin, this was related to a short delivery in the settlement process. The short delivery was subsequently settled before the cash settlement process, so there is no further action required from your end.
The T1 quantity shown in the Portfolio can take some time to reflect the final settlement status. Once the settlement is completed, the holdings will be updated accordingly. Hope this clarifies your doubts.
