Pause. Reflect. Trade Smarter with Take a Break

Kindly check my reply to Shruthi

Shruthi Shetty but it is lengthy process to activate the segment again. It needs bank proof verification, otp etc., After requesting for activation, it will take 2-3 working dys to get segment activated which means loss of opportunities. So this is not at all an alternative to the segment-wise take a break feature..

If you could introduce segment wise take a break feature, it will be more useful. I am requesting this because we can stop over trading for that particular day in the fno segment and concentrate on investing in equity if required.

Secondly, one or two chances should be given during the day to deactivate the take a break feature.

Thirdly, can you tell me why the equity & mutual fund segments are greyed out?

@shruthi_shetty pls comment, no response from you from last 2 weeks approx. If you dont want to comment, disable comment section only for your blogs.

Hi @a7mxqMLDnd, apologies for the delay in replying. I completely understand your concern. Your feedback regarding the segment-wise “Take a Break” feature has already been communicated to the team. As for the equity and mutual fund segments being greyed out, this happens because they are default segments. This feedback has also been shared with the team.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

@shruthi_shetty thanks for your repy. Kindly comment on the following second point - Secondly, one or two chances should be given during the day to deactivate the take a break feature..

Also give me a strict ETA for implementing all this feedback as I had observed many times that @communications_team team take many months to implement a small feedback also.

I have already shared all your feature requests with the concerned team, @a7mxqMLDnd. While I cannot provide a specific ETA as of now, it is currently in the pipeline. I will keep you updated on it.

Hey @a7mxqMLDnd, as you’ve given valuable feedback on the “Take a Break” feature, I wanted to ask if you’ve had a chance to try Quick Trade yet? If yes, please share your valuable feedback in this post, as we are enhancing it and looking to enable it soon!

Hi Shruthi, what is the use of sharing feedback when your team doesn’t take it seriously and even if taken, it takes many months to implement. I had suggested minor changes to your journal 3 months back and no use till now.

I truly understand how important it is to see suggestions being acted upon, @a7mxqMLDnd. There’s quite a lot in the pipeline right now, but our team is already working on implementing updates and doing their best to address all clients feedback.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I given feedback on trading journal around 3 months back and in december, out of the 3 improvements requested, only 1 is implemented. No update on the other two. I had followed with your product team mahesh many times but no use. You dont even imagine how frustrating it is. He has committed a 15 days deadline to implement but even after 3months also, no reply from him. If you have some other priorities, what is the necessity to your team to commit such false deadlines and irritate cients? Ultimately, it is your app which is improving, we have many choices. So you should respect clients like me and avoid giving false commitments @communications_team.

Hi

Hi naresh.

This take a break option still not available in API. The above comment was more than a year ago. Is there any pipeline planned really.

Some brokers allready provided API options currently. Fyers is getting delayed

Hey @XwQ5AZGUNn,

Due to other priorities and regulatory changes, this has been delayed. However, please rest assured that it is included in the roadmap.

Hi @naresh_janagama,

A lot of users have asked here, is there a plan to add a Maximum Daily Loss Limit which auto-triggers the “Take a Break” feature? That would really be helpful and a feature that nobody else in the Indian Broker Landscape is offering.
