same strike price @3:09 pm for 277rs and i holding this position for next day.

Now what should be the bought price it show NEXT day in your position?

it is showing my buy average price as 383.6 for the last bought 100 qty

TRADING PLATFORM ALWAYS CALCULATE AVERAGE PRICE ON DAILY BASIS, SO AVERAGE PRICE OF 383.61 IS CORRECT. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG FROM TRADING PLATFORM / TRADING SYSTEM SIDE.

TO AVOID CONFUSION, WE SHOULD HAVE OUR OWN CALCULATION DURING LIVE MARKET.

IF YOU CHECK CONTRACT NOTE & NSE TRADE DETAILS REPORT, YOU WOULD FIND EXACT REAL BUY SELL PRICE, AS MENTIONED BY YOU.

I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TO IGNORE SYSTEM AVERAGE PRICE CALCULATION AND MAINTAIN TRADING JOURNAL WITH YOUR OWN REAL BUY SELL PRICE AND CONFIRM THEM WITH CONTRACT NOTE & NSE TRADE DETAILS REPORT.

so here i should avoid this avg price calc and consider my last bought price as 277 rs as the final buy. Am i right?

even if i hold this position it should for 277rs?

BASED ON TODAY’S CLOSING PRICE, NEXT DAY OPEN PRICE AND LTP, AGAIN NEXT DAY SYSTEM MAY SHOW SOME DIFFERENT AVERAGE PRICE, PLEASE IGNORE IT AND CONSIDER 276.97 AS YOUR BUY PRICE.

PLEASE NOTE THAT , NEXT DAY’S MTM WILL BE BASED ON SYSTEM AVERAGE PRICE. HERE ALSO YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR OWN RECORD AND OWN CALCULATION TO AVOID CONFUSION.
