Hey @RTCIfJOW9u,

  • SL cannot be higher than the buying price. Could you send us a possible screenshot of the error that you’re getting? We’ll get it checked.
  • As per the circular dated 21st September 2021, the Exchange has blocked Bracket Orders and Covers Orders for Options (Stock Options and Index Options). We have posted the same on our Notice Board as well. You can check it out.

1)Sl is lower than buying price only while placing order, but if we have to trail sl when market price is higher than buy price, it should be allowed to shift sl higher than buying price.
Otherwise how someone will trail SL?
This is intermittent issue which arise every now and then, but not always with every order.

  1. other platforms still allow sl order for options like icici allows it with option plus.

  2. after buying options, I can’ t even put sl order in fyers separately,
    It seems to reject sl orders for options.
    Does it treat sell order completely new requiring sell order margin?
    If yes, it is not expected behavior.

Hi Fyers,

Circular clearly stops only sl-m orders for index options, but fyers has banned sl-limit also on options trading.
Don’t you have technical capabilities to read and implement circulars properly?
