I recently purchased share for delivery through my FYERS trading account. However, I noticed that the position/order was automatically cancelled on the following trading day.
I would like to understand the reason behind this cancellation. Could you please review the transaction and clarify:
Why was the delivery purchase cancelled automatically?
Was there any issue related to margin requirements, settlement, or account balance?
Are there any specific actions required from my side to prevent this from happening in the future?
For your reference, the transaction details are as follows:
Stock Name: [Vedanta (Iron and Steel)]
Order Date: [17th June]
Quantity: [50]
I would appreciate it if you could investigate the matter and provide an explanation at your earliest convenience.
The Exch order ID was: 1300000000013422. I have place the order on 17th and order got executed on 18th June as well. Today, I got to know that It was cancelled.
Please do let me know if you need more information on it.
I have initiated a long term purchase stock yesterday and again it got cancelled. If Fyers is not allowing to buy delivery stocks for long term, better, I would prefer to use another platform. Please share failure reason by today EOB.
For your reference, please find the below order details which was cancelled again.
Hey @G1IN2xvOD8, upon checking the order details, I could see two VISL orders on 17th June.
The first order was placed at 9:20 AM at ₹23.21 under the BE category. As there wasn’t enough liquidity available at the specified price, the order remained pending and was eventually cancelled by the exchange at 4:34 PM.
Another order was placed at 6:08 PM as a normal order. Since market hours had already ended, the order was rejected. Orders placed after market hours need to be submitted as an AMO (After Market Order).
The VISL order placed on 19th June was executed successfully under the CNC product type for 100 shares at ₹24.61.
The cancellation wasn’t related to funds, margin, or any issue with your account. The order remained pending during market hours as it could not be matched in the market. Since it was not executed by the end of the trading session, it was cancelled by the exchange after market hours.
Hope this clarifies your question. If you need any further details, please let me know and I’ll help you with it.
