After April 1, new algo regulations takes effects, and placing market order via algo trading is not allowed. What will happen if I try to place, will system automatically convert it as MPP or something, or it is mandatory to place limit order?
Hey @v5QpncDhu0, market orders will be automatically converted to MPP (Market Price Protection) orders, which add a price protection band around execution. The behavior is similar, but if your strategy depends on true market order fills, account for this. For more details refer to this blog.
