I searched before posting this, and I see that same error was reported before 3 years, where the answer by the team was to upgrade the library to v3 and remove v1 / v2 libraries from the project.
However, I downloaded the latest Java SDK from official github repositoriy as per doc, and I still get the same error.
Additional Details :
I checked the CSV in the API documentation, and I couldn’t find BankNifty symbol in any of the files. Looks Banknifty index quote is not supported at all, only FUT quotes are supported, which is fundamentally wrong. Future prices are derived from the spot as base.
Tried one more time with fyersjavasdk 1.3.0

Hi @114886827572304811149,
The correct symbol format is NSE:NIFTYBANK-INDEX, and the same is mentioned in the Symbol master - CSV.
