How to buy/sell or view charts of stocks traded on NSE segments?

The symbol of those stocks aren’t appearing on Fyers. Please help!

I meant SME stocks. It was a typo. May be auto correct. Apologise for the inconvenience.

SME stocks quotes/charts do not appear on Fyers.

We haven’t activated SME segments on BSE & NSE, yet. The demand for SME IPOs has kinda slacked off in the last few years. Everyone’s attention is mostly on the mainboard IPOs and more specifically, unicorn IPOs. Currently, these are some of the issues with the SME segment:

  • Stocks listed in this segment are still in the very early stages or very small. Their annual revenues are mostly way below 25 Cr.
  • The IPO subscribers most often tend to be within the well-known circles and stakeholders of the companies that are going public.
  • There is little to no publicly available information about these companies barring the mandatory financial disclosures to the ROC and some very basic disclosures to BSE/NSE which may not add much value to the shareholders in my personal opinion.
  • Due to the opacity and the lack of mandatory disclosures for SMEs, it is fair to assume that corporate governance will be akin to the typical private limited companies.

Having said that, we may consider enabling this segment in the future when it makes sense.

Okay, your points are valid and well taken.

However, I have noticed that sometimes SME stocks provide a great trading opportunity (as assessed by technical charts).

Anyways, I would suggest, if there aren’t cost consideration involved, then enabling it isn’t a bad idea. Let the people decide if they want to trade in them or not.
