How do you identify fundamentally strong stocks for long-term investing?

I’m building a long-term investment portfolio and would like to know how experienced investors evaluate companies before investing. Which financial metrics do you consider most important—P/E ratio, ROE, EPS growth, debt levels, or free cash flow? Do you also consider industry trends and management quality? I’d appreciate hearing about your investment process.

Hey, just sharing what I look for. I usually start with consistent sales and profit growth, healthy ROE/ROCE, low debt, and positive cash flow. After that, I spend some time understanding the management and whether the business can keep growing over the next few years. In my view, strong numbers bring you in, but good management keeps you invested.

Any tools you use to filter…It is very difficult to find a good stock with good fundamentals that is also fairly valued and has good growth potential..I still regret not buying KalyanJIL.
