Historical Data API returning empty/error response for specific NSE tickers

Hi Team,

I am encountering an issue with the Historical Data API where data requests fail or return empty responses for a specific set of NSE equity symbols, whereas the exact same API implementation successfully fetches historical data for all other stock tickers.

Affected Symbols:

  • NSE:HFCL-EQ

  • NSE:STLTECH-EQ

  • NSE:SIGMAADV-EQ

  • NSE:BLISSGVS-EQ

  • NSE:HEG-EQ

  • NSE:E2E-EQ

Issue Details:

  • API Endpoint: Historical Data API

Has anyone experienced the same? There may be more but these are the only ones that i’ve monitored recently. My program fails when it finds these stocks. Why would the API not return data for these only?

could you share more details about the period and time frame for which you are trying to fetch historical data?
