Suppose I want place a GTT for 10 qtys. I want to book my qtys in say in more than 1 leg. While placing the GTT order I will place SL for whole qtys and 5 qtys at Target 1. So when my Target 1 hits, will I be able to update by modifying this GTT order to set my Target 2 and TSL and so on or do I have to manually place limit orders to book my qtys.
Also when will this feature be available on Fyers Web because not everyone likes to switch between mobile and bigger screen continuously.
Hi @AqwwXEFTRd, based on your scenario, you want to place a GTT order for 10 quantities of a stock, and book your quantities in more than one leg. You also want to place a stop-loss for the whole quantity and a target for 5 quantities. In this case, you can use the GTT Advanced option, which lets you assign different quantities for stop-loss and targets.
To do this, you need to input the trigger price and limit price for both the stop-loss and target, as well as the quantity for each.
Once you place this order, it will remain active until either the stop-loss or the target is triggered. If the target is triggered, then 5 quantities will be executed at the limit price of ₹126, and the remaining 5 quantities will still have the stop-loss of ₹100. If the stop-loss is triggered, then all 10 quantities will be executed at the limit price of ₹99.
If you want to update your GTT order after the target is triggered, you can do so by modifying the order in the GTT order book. You can change the stop-loss or target price, quantity, or validity of the order. However, you cannot change the order type from GTT Advanced to any other type.
