Fyers past data retention for FNO for extraction via its Prime API subscription

I am building an MCX commodity options backtesting application.

With FYERS Prime and the Expired F&O Data API, can I retrieve 5-minute OHLCV and open-interest candles for expired MCX CRUDEOIL CE/PE contracts from 2021 through 2026?

Specifically, does the 100-day restriction refer only to the maximum date range per API request, or is there an additional historical retention limit for expired MCX options?

Can you confirm whether contracts expiring in 2021 or 2022 are accessible at 5-minute resolution?

Hi Rohan,

• Data is available from 11 Oct 2018 for MCX.
• A single request can cover up to 100 days.
• You can retrieve contracts that expired after the available data (i.e., after 2018). Please refer API docs for more details: Get Expired F&O Data API: Historical Candles – FYERS API
