Hi Fyers Team,
I have a couple of ideas that I believe can help traders manage risk and stick to their strategies better:
-
Per-Order Quantity Limit
-
Allow users to set a maximum quantity for a single order at login (example: 2000 units). - The system should reject any single order exceeding this limit, regardless of how many times the user trades. - Benefit: Helps prevent accidental large trades and ensures discipline in risk management.
-
Sell-Only Mode
-
Allow users to enable a mode where only sell orders are allowed. - Any attempt to place a buy order should be blocked. - Benefit: Helps traders stick to specific strategies, such as option selling, without accidentally buying.
These features could work similarly to the existing “Take a Break” option, but with more granular control per order and per strategy.
I believe adding these options will improve risk management and trading discipline for retail traders.
Thanks for considering!
