Hi team, just a suggestion/request — it would be really useful if you could add Gamma Exposure (GEX) charts to the fyers smart charts platform, especially for intraday options traders.
Kudos to your team for bringing order flow chart though I see volume and delta variance from other platforms but I think it will improve in couple of days. Thanks to fyers, We already have things like OI, volume, IV, Delta, etc., but GEX can provide a very different perspective on how option positioning may influence the underlying price.
For intraday trading, GEX can help us to identify things like:
- Areas where dealer hedging may create support/resistance or price pinning
- Positive vs negative gamma zones
- Potential levels where the market can become more stable/choppy vs areas where moves can accelerate
- Important strikes where a liquidity sweep or breakout may have a higher probability of continuation or reversal
- How the options market positioning is likely to affect Nifty’s intraday price behaviour
Having this information alongside the price chart, OI and Delta would make the analysis much more powerful.
It would be even better if the platform could show a GEX profile across strikes, similar to a volume profile, with the ability to see net GEX, call GEX, put GEX and the major gamma levels.
I think this would be a genuinely useful addition for serious intraday traders, rather than just another indicator.
Would really appreciate it if the team could consider adding Gamma Exposure / GEX analysis in a future update.
