As an active options scalper who relies heavily on speed and execution, I have been using the Fyers Scalper Terminal extensively. The recent updates, particularly the integration of Fyers Indicators, are excellent additions that add real value to the platform.
However, to truly optimize the terminal for high-frequency trading and scalping, I would like to report a couple of workflow-breaking bugs and propose a few essential quality-of-life features.
Bug Reports
- Timeframe Preferences Not Saving: Currently, āFavoriteā timeframes fail to save across sessions. Whenever the terminal is refreshed, the favorited timeframes disappear. Having to manually reconfigure these settings disrupts the trading rhythm and needs a permanent fix.
- Interface Freezing & Auto-Refreshes: The terminal interface frequently freezes and triggers an unprompted auto-refresh. Experiencing this instability while managing an active, live position is a critical issue for scalpers, where a delay of even a few seconds can drastically impact profitability.
Feature Requests

Lot Count Display: While having the absolute total quantity input is standard, many of us calculate our position sizing strictly by lot size. Displaying the number of selected lots directly alongside the quantity selector would significantly speed up order preparation.

Trade-wise PnL Toggle: Please consider adding a toggle to switch between the current āoverall intraday average PnLā and a ātrade-wise PnLā for individual scrips. Upstox currently offers this specific metric on their scalper terminal, and it makes tracking individual setup performance much more efficient.

Estimated Brokerage/Charges: Inspired by AngelOneās interface, displaying real-time āEstimated Chargesā alongside the gross PnL within the Positions tab would provide a much clearer, immediate picture of net profitability.

āFlip Directionā & āFlip Sideā Execution: In scalping, execution speed is paramount. Adding one-click execution buttons for these actions would shave 10 to 15 seconds off manual order modifications:

Flip Direction: Instantly market-closes the current open position and executes a reverse trade in the exact same scrip with an identical lot size. - Flip Side: Instantly market-closes the current open position and immediately executes a trade of the same lot size on the opposite option leg (e.g., switching from CE to PE) to catch rapid momentum shifts.
