Can trading become a full time career?

Can trading become a full time career?

Obviously Yes, Why not!

If some one wants to become a doctor or an engineer or any other professional, one has to spend min. 5 years after 10th to get qualified and additional min. 5 years to get field experience. So alltogether Min 10 years to become a professional in any field.

Same logic applies for trader also. Approx 10 years to become a Professional Trader. And till then one has to keep trading, keep learning and keep loosing money.

This is the fact. Please do not expect income from stock market if you are not ready to give this much time and money.

I hope I have made it very clear.

This is my personal opinion .

Yes,why not .agar ek insan bhi kisi kam ko kr skta h to hm bhi kr skte h.

Of course. At one point, I was a full-time trader at a proprietary trading firm and later traded for myself and a few of my relatives in my early days. Is it common? No, it isn’t because it requires a certain level of confidence, a sufficiently capitalized account, and enough money saved up for the rainy days. Also, trading alone can get a bit lonely after a while. So, that’s another big reason why people give up midway. However, if you are determined and think you have it in you, there’s no better profession. It can be very gratifying once things start working out. It’ll take time, but I know people who have succeeded as full-time traders, and they all have said that the journey was well worth it.

Yes, you can start up your career as a full time trader. You will have to have enough market knowledge, trading skills and money. Remember the money you put in should me very less. You need to have some back up money as you will have to need that. Trading is quite easy, infact even ALGO will work out to trade. But the psychology you create by trading your self is very essential. As they can help you in the long run. Full time & Part time is nothing. Its just the mind set!

I’m just repeating my answer from here

"I would say that trading is more like a business rather than job.

Because, in a job, you will be paid for the time you spent working.
In trading, there’s no guarantee. You might lose money, instead of making it."

"Trading can become a full-time gig for some people! It’s all about finding your rhythm and what works best for you. I’ve seen folks dive into day trading, swing trading, or even investing in long-term stocks, and it can pay off if you put in the time and effort. The key is to start small, learn the ropes, and develop a solid strategy.

It’s not a walk in the park, though. You’ll face ups and downs and must be prepared for that rollercoaster ride. Plus, having a backup plan is brilliant.
