Can any one help me, while doing option trading how can place a limit order (desired price) with Target and Stoploss in a single order
What I usually do is place a separate limit order for the target and an SL Limit order for the SL. With BO and CO orders blocked (as per the exchange rules) I am not sure it can be done in a single order.
Hey Ankit, BO/CO orders are not blocked. It’s just that they don’t have the same leverage that they used to before peak margin rules came in.
Hey @kuiM8bZWkQ, You can do this using bracket orders. These orders are also known as OCO meaning One Cancels Other. So, if your target is hit, then your SL will get automatically canceled and vice versa.
@tejas_khoday but aren’t SLM orders on option contracts blocked by the exchange?
Do you have any sample video to use feature, can we apply on nifty options??
