Hello,
Can someone please explain the logic used in GTT orders for Stop Loss & Target?
Suppose I want to buy Tata Steel which has a LTP of 165/-
I want my entry price to be 164 and my SL needs to be 162 and my Target 175
I proceed to enter this in the app as a GTT OCO order which asks you to enter 4 things:
Target Trigger Price, Target Limit Price, SL Trigger Price & SL Limit Price
When I enter the above SL it tells me that it should be greater than LTP, why is that? Surely my SL is to allow for the order to go through even when the price falls below the LTP
Can someone please explain the logic that has been used for the for data points above
Thanks in advance for your assistance on this!
Lall
